When exploring a city, the beauty is often in getting to know it from a new perspective, from places that offer a view of its most beautiful parts. Belgrade was created for that – rivers, hills, old and modern architecture together provide scenes that you will remember for a long time.
And if you are also looking for the perfect frame for social media, we have singled out three locations from which Belgrade can be seen at its best.
1.Belgrade 360 Deck –view from the highest point of the city
One of the latest and most attractive sights of Belgrade is located on the 41st floor of Kula Belgrade, the tallest building in Serbia and the region. From a height of 155 metres, there is a 360-degree panorama of the city.
What awaits you at the top?
A view that includes the Belgrade Fortress, St. Sava Temple, Avala and New Belgrade, as well as spectacular sunsets behind the Ada Bridge.
Belgrade 360 Deck provides much more than the opportunity for the perfect photo. Here you can get to know Belgrade better and discover its most famous landmarks from a completely new angle.
- Telescopes and interactive kaleidoscopes reveal the finest details and hidden gems of the city, that you can easily explore with your crew or family.
- The space is decorated with contemporary art pieces, so Belgrade 360 Deck is a kind of gallery at the highest elevation in Belgrade.
- There is also a cafeteria and a glazed terrace for a break with a view, and in the souvenir shop you can find carefully selected gifts with Belgrade motifs.
What does the path to the clouds look like?
The adventure begins already in Galerija. You can buy tickets at the Ticketing Office on the second floor of Galerija, near lift lobby A, or simply online. After that, a glazed pedestrian footbridge leads you to Kula Belgrade. Quotes by Momo Kapor and Dušan Vasiljev accompany you through it, and on your way to Kula, you will also have a view of the Sava River and a selfie bridge – an ideal opportunity for a photography.
The contemporary lifts of Kula Belgrade will take you up to the 41st floor in just 25 seconds.
Bonus: 50% discount on the tickets valid until the end of August 2026.

2.Gardoš – The charm of old Zemun and the scent of the Danube
For a completely different experience of Belgrade, head to Zemun.
At the top of Gardoš, there is one of the most famous Belgrade towers – Gardoš kula, also known as Millenium Tower or Sibinjanin Janko Tower. There is a magical view of the red roofs of old Zemun, the powerful Danube and the distant horizon of New Belgrade from the viewpoint on the second level of this 36-metre-high tower.
Inside the tower itself, there are art studios and workshops, and when you are done sightseeing, you can continue walking through the surrounding narrow streets and stop by for some of the famous Zemun fish specialties.
Small tip: Gardoš is especially charming in the evening, when the city lights reflect on the Danube, and the historical atmosphere of this part of Zemun becomes even more pronounced.

3.Kalemegdan and the Belgrade Fortress – a classic that never goes out of fashion
You cannot say you’ve been to Belgrade if you haven’t stood on the plateau next to the Victor. The Turks called this place Ficir-bajir – „hill for thinking“, and for good reason.
The views open from Kalemegdan to:
- the confluence of two rivers: the place where the Sava flows into the Danube offers a scene that few capitals in the world have;
- Great War Island: the green oasis right accross from the fortress is a real treat for the eyes;
- bridges and New Belgrade: from here there is a nice view of Branko’s Bridge, the banks of the Sava and the blocks of New Belgrade.
And when you are done sightseeing, there are plenty of reasons to linger – from a walk thorugh the park and fortress, to a coffee overlloking the rivers.
Three different views, three different experiences – and countless reasons to look at Belgrade once again from a perspective from which it looks truly spectacular.
